Sagarika Ghose creates history, appointed as coach of the Netherlands cricket team!

In a completely absurd & unbelievable turn of events, CNN-IBN news anchor Sagarika Ghose has been appointed as the new coach of the Netherlands cricket team. By this development, Ghose has created history by becoming the first ever woman to coach a men's national cricket team.

Sagarika Ghose, in an all-new outfit adorned with Orange flowers, will be coaching  the Netherlands Cricket Team

Ghose's daring act of replacing "Saffron" on the Indian National Flag with "Orange" has impressed Prime Minister Mark Rutte far beyond doubt. "Who cares if she doesn't know cricket too well? Even our team doesn't ! But this is the kind of patriotism I'm looking for among cricketers of my country! There has to be an obsession with 'Orange'. Only then people will play with all their might & vigor". The news was confirmed by hotshot Netherlands cricketer Ryan Ten Doeschate, who also plays for IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders. "Well, she's an absolutely beautiful woman & we're looking forward to drinking a lot of gin. I'm pretty sure that blind faith in her alone would help us surge ahead and soon become the world's #1 cricketing nation."

A delighted Ghose tweeted "Wow! Eagerly looking forward to coach the Dutch team. Can't wait to spend time with Nisterlooy! ;)", following which she corrected herself & tweeted - "Sorry Tweeple! I stand corrected. I meant Tendo! Cheerio folks!". Rajdeep Sardesai's joy too, knew no bounds, as he was heard singing "Biwi no. 1 mere Biwi no. 1 !!" & followed it up with a tweet - "Aah, what time is it? Old Monk time! gnight!". Sources said that the Government of India was discussing conferring Ghose with a special Bharat Ratna or Padma Vibhushan due to her rare achievement, before holding themselves, facing severe opposition from senior lawyer & BJP MP Ram Jethmalani, who termed it as "bullshit".

All political parties have also unanimously rapped NASA for their portrayal of astronauts in outfits which supposedly hurt the sentiments of Ghose and her fans. Senior political leaders from all parties have already condemned the act and written to envoy Nirupama Rao regarding the same. Foreign Affairs Minister S.M.Krishna confirmed that he had already taken up the matter with US Secretary of state Hina Rabbani Khar.

With her new appointment, would Ghose still "Face the nation"? "Of course I will. Haven't you heard of look-live journalism? All my interviews which have happened all these years will be replayed with new people on the split screens everyday!", Ghose signs off.
